As the world prepares to take stock of the progress made towards the Paris Agreement at COP28 in Dubai, we’re delighted to announce that the Luxembourg Stock Exchange will be organising a special side event on 3 December – so mark your calendars, tune in to the live streaming and join us!
Gender finance - the time to act is now!
On Sunday 3 December from 14:30 – 16:00 CET (or 17:30 – 19:00 local time), cameras will be live at the BENELUX-EIB PAVILION at COP28 in Dubai, as we join forces with UN Women for a special side event in the Blue Zone entitled “Gender finance – the time to act is now!”
During the 90-minute event, our Head of Sustainable Finance Laetitia Hamon and Sustainable Finance Manager Paul Chahine will be joined by very special guests and experts in the realm of gender finance and women’s empowerment:

Linking finance and gender
Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and the launch of a dedicated gender-focused bond flag on the Luxembourg Green Exchange in May 2022, LuxSE and UN Women will join forces at this special side event to present the work and initiatives they’ve carried out since then that aim to advance gender-lens investing, with a special focus on creating awareness and increase your understanding of what gender finance is, how it works and why it matters.
