Why did we create LGX?
Sustainable finance has grown exponentially since world leaders committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and the Paris Agreement in 2015. There is an increased sense of urgency associated with the climate crisis across the world, and finance needs to be part of the solution to this global challenge. LGX is part of our answer and contribution to the sustainability challenges of the future. Our goal is to transform finance and help make it sustainable by default.

What sustainable securities are displayed on the LGX Platform?
Through the LGX Platform, we provide a clear and transparent pathway that enables asset owners and managers to access information on a wide variety of labelled sustainable securities – including green, social and sustainability (GSS) bonds, sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs), gender-focused bonds and sustainable funds - listed at LuxSE, with all relevant documentation available free of charge. Going beyond security-level, our new EU Taxonomy Issuers Window strengthens our commitment to transparency by highlighting issuers whose activities closely align with the EU Taxonomy criteria. As the first Platform to translate industry best practices into mandatory admission requirements, we set a high standard and encourage issuers to lead by example.
